Episode 23 of the Random history of Belgium tells the story of the "Brabant killers", also known as "de Bende van Nijvel" or "Tueries du Brabant". A series of crimes, robberies and murders carried uit in the 1980s in Belgium. I tell about the crime spree, the impact and I'll set the stage for the next parts of this multi-part episode.

In this first part, I'll give an overview of what this gang was doing, in chronological order.
